Even if Westö specializes in pole vault and track and field, his great knowledge in human physique, body mechanics and coaching has lead to coaching across sports borders. Westö has lead many training groups and helped athletes from different fields such as gymnasts, wrestlers, skiers, golfers, soccer players etc. Westö also holds mobility practice for VRIA academic youths on a weekly basis.
